MY LOVE (r)
by Sylvia Waindim – (Journalist, media/Human resource personnel, creative writer)
I woke up with a ring size shape on my face.On the side of my face just before my ear.I slept on my lovers chest the whole night so I got it.It didn’t feel like an engagement….diamond crusted kinda thing.
Its a wedding band size.I have never been married before but single people know the sizes and sides better trust me.But I can’t leave him,I won’t leave him. There is something about being that I don’t like in the closet of my life,of my love.
I don’t have a lot of love to give so i can only be a contributor in a love triangle. I can’t be am equal partner. The wife may be mad but I hope she understands that if he can take it off for me and put it on for her then im the one he has to pretend for.
I woke up with a ring size print on my face. Its not my ring.I touched it.It felt like my truth,my reality and the circumference of my love.
…and as always thanks for reading…
