Broken Pixels (Volume 2)

She said “I hate it when I fail, why didn’t I get an A ” ?

She asked, “what are you doing B ”

Lying in my favourite position curved like C

I replied. She was angry getting a fail grade, a D

Get some change , let’s make bread and E

It was cold and windy as F

We were hungry and tired as F

Then she looked at me and said “G

Bread and egg won’t be enough for us G”

I tried to make some calls with my bar showing H

I stayed on the phone for too long she said “I…

Am hungry please, call your best friend J” 

I said “it’s O.K” 

Just one word took us this far, it starts with  L

It was hard growing up, being a young M

Especially when you are a Yes man not N 

I didn’t enjoy watching her cry , smh O ! 

Let’s go eat; I said. She replied, “please let me P

My mind was not at peace, I asked myself a lot of Q

Questions my brain couldn’t give me an R 

Replies weren’t even my concern…
