#SNBS Crispy De Rap Dare Devil …Watch it!

“Hop hop is dead” said Nas, then Lil Wayne cancelled the phrase “I am hip hop and I ain’t dead am alive”. I agree with Nas to an extend but why? Because not only lil Wayne reminds us of hip hop Crispy De Rap Dare Devil does. Settled ? Maybe!

“Small No be Sick” a very versatile phrase, I know you are so ready to get the meaning from me and all that it stands for…sorry  i don’t do languages  Crispy is known for his very creepy, “dangerous” and highly metaphoric rap style. “If I vex I di turn Mboma”, “I di treat this rappers like na ringworm” …Sounds mystical and supper catchy. These ingredients and his height (Short) accounts for his unique style, yes his height (that one na old news) as he makes it clear in this track #SNBS size doesn’t matter.

It’s a very important message, I won’t claim to decypher his lyrics or meaning of the whole track but we all know everything starts small, grows and impact more. Some stay small and still impact more. (brief)

Our music industry and every other entertaining business requires a lot of risk and hard work. To produce a track (which I won’t explain how, though I have done it) is more like playing poker. After all the sacrifices, try by error methods, believing in your instincts, you only realise your product represents who you are. Period

Let’s support and promote what is ours. Be your brother’s keeper and don’t jump into funny critiques then lay back and feel like you worked with Micheal Jackson or Steve Jobs to create and produce what we enjoy till date . (iPhone,iPod,…break dancing..)
